One of my favorite Indian restaurants in CA. Better than any places I?ve been to in LA county. I come here every time I find my self driving through the area. It is a must try! View all feedback.
What Raqui Vz doesn't like about Taste Of India:
I ordered the chicken tikka masala. It was more of a chutney. It also had a sweet flavor such as pineapple or possibly mango. It was super spicy. Tasted nothing of usual tikka masala sauce. The naan was a disappointment. Poor quality bread. The rice was cold. The rice would probably be the best thing they have if it was warm. I'm not coming back. Then they charged me for a different meal, which was $1 more. Not worth... View all feedback.
Just order. It?s good. I know what you?re thinking. This kind of has a ?gas station sushi? vibe. Don?t worry, it?s delicious. I?m 100% sure it?s the best and most interesting food in the area. I ordered the butter chicken with rice and Naan. Tons of flavor and absolutely fresh. And yes I put ice in my beer! Thank you Vietnam for that genius idea!
Inside of Joe?s Village Market, across the street from Starbucks. Authentic Indian, freshly cooked upon ordering. Must try: 1. Mix Paratha (thin layers of cooked dough stuffed with herbs) taste even better than the usual Naan. 2. Goat curry 3. Aloo Gobi (made with potatoes, cauliflower, and Indian spices) Perfect highway 5 stop, equipped with few tables, bathroom, village markers well stocked to pick up items after Indian delights

Best Indian restaurant on way to Yosemite. People are friendly, your can ask them to adjust spice level as most of the things are made fresh. Parathas are must try.
