National Paradise - Gurupavanapuri

I had the best non-vegetarian biryani I've ever tasted at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying the chicken biryani, beef and paratha, and chicken alfham. The food is always served hot and is in high demand due to its exceptional taste and quality, so make sure to arrive early. The alfham and beef curry were amazing, and the chicken biryani is a must-try. There are more options on the menu, but I can vouch for the deliciousness of these dishes.

Our group of friends had a fantastic and unique experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed delicious food and had an even better time together.

The food took far too long to arrive after we placed our order. The service was slow, the restaurant was crowded, and there was a lack of hygiene.

I went there once solo for dinner and then again with a friend since he wanted to have non veg food biryani specifically. The first visit I tried chicken shwawarma and green salad. The shwawarma was very bland and the pita used very flaky and crumbling apart. Won’t recommend this to anyone. The salad was just one big plate of carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes sliced dumped on the plate. Presentation did not seem very high on their mind. The second visit, I had chicken biryani and my friend beef biryani. The chicken biryani was cooked well but again very bland. My friend said his biryani was ok. Kerala food is in general a bit spicy and the food here was a disappointment both times. Cleanliness and higene is a bit lacking. But that is the case for most restaurants in the area. Ambience wise too there is nothing much going on here. They still use cheap melamine plates. A bit odd since even smaller restaurants nearby use ceramic or steel plates. So wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. If desirous of a biryani there is a small place just few shops away excellent Kerala style chicken roast chicken biryani.

One of the good hotel at Guruvayur for non vegetarian food items. Service and food is really good. People who comes to Guruvayur sometime misses the non veg food. You will get in this place.
