When a restaurant is on the higher end of the price scale, they better deliver on all counts. Well, this establishment went above and beyond. We started off with the calamari. Yum! My husband ordered the 14 oz NY strip with mashed sweet potatoes and was extremely content with the choice. I had one of their salads and their Portobello mushroom quesadilla. Sooo good that I can't wait to go back. I wanted to try the crab brie soup but the waiter was very honest and said it was phenomenal but something to be shared. Next time! Our water glasses were always filled and the staff was courteous from the hostess to the busboys to our waiter. I have high expectations and did not walk away from this place disappointed in the least. The only recommendation I would have is a slight improvement on the chocolate cake. I would give that 3 stars. And, just my opinion, if you are a frequent guest always content but have one less-than-satisfactory experience, tell management before posting neg reviews that can't be taken back.

I had the pot roast, which was absolutely fabulous (and huge . A bit salty, but can't get away from that sometimes. Wait staff was super attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Husband had a steak, which he loved. Sides are always yummy. They gave us a little dessert with a candle in it chocolate cake and oh my goodness. Too good. We went while it was still daylight out and the place can feel a little dark. I suppose that is ambiance, right? : There's a large bar, and lots of folks choose to dine or snack there while they watch games and have drinks. We might need to come back for that. No room for appetizers with the large portions and sides.
