Was so happy to see that the dining room was finally opened since the covid. but it was disappointed to see that they were going down the menu and many of their burgers. we also had to do everything to order to enter a kiosk. wait for our food, get our food and clean it up for ourselves, which was in order. but it's not okay to ask for a tip when the patron does all the work. also the restaurant was filthy! how will they be closed for 2 years because of covid and then not even have a clean device when they reopen! the workers were nice and that was still good.
Was so excited to see a steak n shake on our trip to gurnee mills. this is by far the most dirty facility I have for years. eating was moderate, milkshakes were good, dining area and bathroom were disgusting. do not look the dust buns over the ventilation openings they can disgust.
