A hidden gem in Gunsan. I fell in love with the taste of makgeolli, the traditional liquor paired here, and became an addict sipping alone at home. What a discovery!! i love sool and this bar is perfect! they have different types of traditional korean liquor. the owner/bartender can converse in English and is passionate about Korean liquor. you can taste even the rare exclusive limited types here. the appetizer and dessert paired well with the alcohol. the owner and his wife are true connoisseurs. a place worth visiting repeatedly. love the music and vibe. tempted to revisit Gunsan to visit here again.
This is a cooking pub where you can feel the inner strength in the list of Korean traditional liquors. A friendly reception welcomed by the aged owners with a warm impression in a small but cozy atmosphere. Elfi music that is comfortable but contains the taste of the owner. I had the most delicious and satisfying meal I ate here during my trip to Gunsan. The alcohol recommended by the owner also went very well with the food and was delicious. Most of the customers seem to be regulars from Gunsan. On the day of my visit, a party of guests impromptuly played classical guitar, creating a concert atmosphere, which made it even better. The dishes I ordered were cod roe pasta and Korean beef alongsatae suyuk. I went expecting clam pasta, but it wasn't there. It seems that the menu is changed with seasonal ingredients that fit the occasion. Arongsatae Suyuk is soft without smell in a clear broth and tastes like perilla leaves. If you add steamed rice to kimchi, it's great as a meal. The kimchi given as a basic snack was so delicious that I refilled it and added a bowl of rice. Seasoned cod roe pasta has a good savory taste, and above all, the noodles are cooked well. It reminds me of this place and I think I will come back to Gunsan.

I even realized to some extent that I can't even eat skates in my mouth, but I'm eating old eunji and skates given to me to taste. Have a warm evening with the kind-hearted owner couple's better-tasting dishes and interesting traditional liquor storytelling.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so nice. The owner couple is also very kind and warm, so we had a good time.
What a delicious place! Octopus Ceviche was so fantastic. The local catch was perfectly cooked and in a delicious sauce. The owners were so hospitable and welcoming. This is a place you must experience! They also have a vast selection of makgeolli which is also a must try Korean staple.
