Was Kimball Evans at Shelle's a mag?
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, and the price was great considering the generous portions we received. I would advise against ordering combo meals; it's better to just get the individual items. For $20, we enjoyed two burgers, tater tots, battered fries, and a medium shake. I stopped by one evening at around 8:40 PM, but unfortunately, they had already stopped taking orders—something we weren't aware of at the time. We stood at the counter for several minutes, completely ignored. It was disappointing that they didn’t even have the courtesy to inform us they were closing. Nice spot with something for everyone, burger was pretty good but you gotta try the sticky chicken.
The atmosphere felt more like a gathering of teenagers chatting than a restaurant experience. The food was just mediocre, and we had to wait a long time for our drinks while the staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves. Our meals were served carelessly, and the service was rather rude overall. To make matters worse, we discovered several hairs in our food. The staff wasn't wearing aprons or hairnets, which was off-putting. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Excellent burgers! Service is good. One of my go to places for burgers and home fries!
