Very friendly service and delicious full catfish. Worth the trip and they were open for lunch on Tuesday. Not easy to find a Wels restaurant open before Thursday or Friday of the week. Thank you. Sherry. Peace, love and catfish forever!

This place is like the definition of southern hospitality. It is very small and picturesque. Our server Rose was the sweetest lady. So friendly, patient and friendly. The fried catfish and sweet potatoes were delicious. The fried pimples were tasty and crisp. The drinks are in cans and glass bottles, but the tea is sweet. I would highly recommend if you love crispy catfish and southern charm!

This is an ole' country-style restaurant inside and outside, even the food, cook good land and feel cooked at home! The owners are very accommodating and cordial. I was here four times. The first time was a little embarrassing as I am asian and this place is from the country where everyone knows and I got the occasional star of the locals, but then they are good people and I had nothing to do with it and everything else was fine. I'm a fan of Mississippi Wels and my job allows me to be anywhere in the state and I always try to eat where the locals eat and I always try the fishfield of the city. Although this is not the best I tried, I would say this is among the top 10! I appreciate my fish in taste, way it was fried, color, fatness and taste. Sherry's catfish, bone in or fillet is really good. You order everything you can eat and keep the golden fried catfish coming until you are stuffed to your throat. All this kindness and the little town the feeling of its branch makes some really good food, a welcome break from the stressful and busy city.

I took my big niece for breakfast here and it was very good as usual. It was clean, service was good, everyone was friendly. I recommend it and I will return. It is one of my great niece favorite places to eat especially for lunch. She always wanted to go there. One of their favorite things is their Hush puppies. She's 7 years old.

Had the club sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever had I'm from a small town in Texas and this place reminded me of home will be back
