What Nathalie Lapierre doesn't like about Emily’s Cafeteria:
Good food. Would have been nice to know that root beers come in bottles and not glasses for refill but waitresses failed to notify until they brought and open drink to table. Kind of slow getting service of menus and food. View all feedback.
Great atmosphere, great staff, great food and family-friendly jewel in downtown Gulfport MS. If you want to feel comfortable and welcome, come to them.
Excellent location for a weekend morning breakfast! Great food and service!

Definitely going back
Stopped in on my way out of town and was blown away by the incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered the country fried steak special which included two sides, a roll and a drink for only $8.95!! Everything was delicious and didn't have that mass produced taste of chain restaurants. I saw other dishes going by that made me wish I wasn't full! I don't think you could be disappointed if you stopped in to try them out.
In the city my mother and sister and my sister recommended to eat this place. I love supporting local businesses, so I was down from the very beginning. We were greeted at the door of Liz and Mary was both friendly and professional. I order a Bbq cheeseburger and Pommes, my wife got the special that was fried catfish, cola, potato salad and Hush puppies. My mother has the tuna salad and my sister has the chicken salad. My burger was juicy, seasoned and well dressed. My wife also loved the fried catfish and the sides and ate every bit. My mother as a sister also loved the salads and while we don't live there, they are planning to eat here more often. At the next visit we plan to stay over. That's why I love local restaurants and support them. So if you live or visit the coast, please visit this local restaurant as you will not regret it.
