Original Oyster House Boardwalk

Charred oysters were the star of the show. Wish we had ordered more. We had an amazing hostess/waitress. ?? Most of the food was pretty good. Salad bar was great. Shrimp was a little bland and rubbery. Felt like the food could have been seasoned a little more. Soft shell crab was a little disappointing. The crab cakes were good. We visited during winter off season weekday. No wait time. Very expensive. I would advise to go during lunch if you?re on a budget.

Fabulous service and food. We had 12 in our party and Daniela did not miss a beat! The food was brought out in a timely fashion and everyone loved the food. I ordered a Hurricane and that was a great made drink. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Would definitely eat at again when in town.

Quality has gone downhill. We used to love eating here but the food was not nearly as good as it was a few years ago. The only thing that was really good was the hush puppies. The shrimp in the shrimp poboy were below average and the other dishes we got were not that great. You pay a lot for average food.

This is the best place hands down. The waitstaff was super friendly, helpful and funny. The menu has something for everyone and we tried a little bit of everything. All of it was cooked to perfection and the flavor was awesome. The drinks were the best I have had anywhere. If you have to wait for a table there are plenty of shops to peruse while you wait with your beeper.

We have been going to the Oyster House for years and years! This is our favorite little spot whenever we are in the area. We do date nights or family outings and it?s always a great time!! They have great seafood choices and generous portions, we always bring food back! Also ALWAYS TAKE THE SALAD BAR as one of your side choices. It?s so goood!!!
