Lulu's Gulf Shores

Lulu 's is a fun place for the whole family. The restaurant has decent food with really nice portions and you can sit overlooking the channel. It 's best to make reservations for dinner if you want to go though, otherwise you will be waiting for quite some time. In the same spot, there is an arcade, gift shop, and an outdoor area where you can get hair wraps, braids, and temporary tattoos that last 3-6 days. There is a place where smaller children can play in the sand and cool off in a small fountain-like water delivery system. Lastly, there is the Mountain of Youth for all ages. You get strapped in a harness and walk a couple of stories into the air on different obstacles, and there 's a much smaller version for the Littles. It 's a little expensive altogether, especially if you are with multiple people, but a great vacation experience.

We mainly came for the ropes course that our daughter was excited about, but it was closed due to lightening in the area . We had been in the area all day and had not seen any lightening, and there was none on the forecast. We were sat by the water which was a nice view. Our server was fantastic, friendly and attentive. The tuna dip appetizer was really good. I had the shrimp tacos as an entree. They were very plain and flavorless. They came with chips and salsa, and the salsa was equally as bland and watery. It 's a cute place but for bland food at a premium we won 't return.

Delicious food, great drinks and an awesome view overlooking the water. The fried green tomatoes were so good! There is also a sand area for the kids to play, an arcade and lots of other stuff. Atmosphere is great the staff was great our waitress was very attentive and friendly! The food came out quickly and was great. No complaints from any of the 3 I was with. The frozen drinks were delicious as well and we all had a different one. They have something for everyone here to include games and play area for kids and adults see pics. Plenty of parking amd seating with great views. Definitely recommend!

ASK FOR KYRON! He is an excellent server and very knowledgeable about the meals on the menu. His service was faster than most. He was a nice guy. He helped us celebrate my daughters 21st birthday by making our visit pleasant!!
