Runaway Island - Gulf Lagoon Beach

Not terrible but also not great. My boyfriend and I went in for lunch yesterday and immediately our waitress Daniela straight up looked like she didn't want to be there. Lacked in charisma and had a raging RBF. Not to mention our food was cold when it came out. I got the blackened redfish with mashed potatoes and my boyfriend got the teriyaki bowl. He said that the warmest part of his dish was the rice... overall I paid $100 after tip for overpriced Medicare food and bad service. The only good thing I can say was the view was spectacular and our cocktails is what saved our experience. Won't be returning.

From start (our wait time was only 16min vs. the 30min quoted) we enjoyed Oysters, pretzel bites and Baja rolls all of them came out quick and delicious...our entrees rocked to finish we had both the dream pie a brownie. Overall our experience was fantastic, our waitress Summer was very helpful and attentive! We'll be back!

This is the first time that I have had a percentage of my bill added for parking and entertainment . I 'm sure that no one else in the restaurant knows either and then it 's too late. We parked on the road and did not go outside where someone was singing. So we didn 't receive anything for the $17.00 that was paid by our table. I know that 's not a lot, but it 's the principal. We did tell the waitress (who was wonderful) to please tell the management that we would never be back. She said the table before us sent the same message.

Great service, amazing food! Staff was great and took care of my party of 20. I got the oysters and grouper and they were fantastic.

The food was very good and the location is amazing. The facility is a little run down.
