Firecracker shrimp. WOW. Literally could eat these forever. So yummy and satisfying. I had the Original Margaritas there and they were absolutely delicious. The food here is hands down some of the best we had all weekend long on our trip in Pensacola. I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta and OMG, some of the best pasta I?ve ever had. My bf had the Drunken Karaoke Burger (it?s the burger on the menu that has garlic h... View all feedback.
What Denise Keaton doesn't like about Frank Lola Love Pensacola Café:
Disappointingly poor Southern hospitality. We were turned away from what used to be my favorite brunch spot. We were informed that we couldn't dine there because we weren't hotel guests, a policy that has been in place since Covid. Now that mask mandates in hospitals have lifted, it seems unreasonable that this should still be an issue. View all feedback.
Many people have commented on this restaurant's pricing, quality, and service, but I disagree with those views. In my opinion, it deserves a solid five stars. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and my meal only cost $33.
This restaurant is quite nice, but it isn't as advertised; it feels more like a hotel lobby.
The restaurant at the Margaritaville resort in Pensacola was fantastic. We dined there frequently due to the delicious food and the great prices.
Service was great. Friendly staff. Food was meh. Definitely not worth the price. And I really HATE restaurants that impose an automatic gratuity fee... besides feeling like the business is trying to trick customers to pay more then the menu prices, it discourages the customer rewarding the staff for excellent service. Plus the restaurant doesn't have to give it to the service staff. All they are required to do is pay the staff the minimum wage.Jimmy, you have plenty of money. Share it with your front line employees. They directly impact your ARR.
Hotel lobby and pool under renovation. Restaurant should not have been open. We paid $52 for lunch (hamburger and nachos, two iced teas) all on paper plates and plastic silverware. The service was bad and we were one of two tables occupied. And when we got the bill, 18%. gratuity was added to the bill. Not a good experience and we won't go again.
