Got a wrap for lunch, was very surprised to see what appeared to be authentic kebab, and not those cheaper minced meat kinds you get everywhere The service was quick and friendly, prices was affordable for the quality of the meal, and the actual food brought me back to Istanbul. It tasted very authentic and not at all like your average kebab shop. Chili is on the spicy side, so beware haha Will definitely go again! View all feedback.

Sorry that the staff are not as good as the setting. We arrived at for just a glass of wine and a cold beer. We asked shall we sit at a free table! We were told to wait by a waiter young man..., He had to check with the kitchen.? The young lad waiter then ignored us as did the a second young girl. The venue is the former horse stabbles where each group is placed in a box that used to belong to a horse. We had the pleasure of dining at the former box of Agatha. We had the solid food which this days was lamb shank....It was delicious and plentiful. Service is fine.
We and family people total) went for dinner Saturday night. Very busy, and we were advised that we might have to wait a while for service. minutes wait, not long, and a very nice professional waitress arrived with the menus. We chose our...meals which arrived quite quick. main course fish and main course venison and it was all amazingly good. As were the deserts. Asked desert wine and the waitress arrived with a tray of different wines and explained what was what. Not only was food, drink, and service extremely good and total bill very reasonable for what we had (We live in England and price wise it was what we would have paid in England). Cannot recommend GENERALEN enough. We have been a couple of times now and will definitely be back.
