We were nearby and were recommended to the restaurant. It is a hotel/restaurant so many of the patrons were hotel guests. It is a number of rooms, as likely larger than viewed first. Two set menus based on price. We both tried on different nights and the food was fab every time with nice service. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. We would definitely go back when we stay in the area. I... View all feedback.
What Gabriele Palmieri doesn't like about Au Relais du Porhoët:
The food was tasteless, without imagination. I could have made the same at home. The decor was old-fashioned. At least it was homemade. The desserts were nice. Atmosphere relaxed. View all feedback.
I didn't ask a question about a table for four vegetarians by email. I have "oh yes, that's good. We will do something to you ’ Now we just say it was not good and leave it there. Much can change in 6 years.
So impressed by this restaurant, quality of food is absolutely amazing, French restaurants at its best. MENU GASTRONOMIQUE is excellent for a special treat your lunch formula menu is excellent quality value. Can't Franck Courtel enough for the delicious dishes he creates the wonderful ambience of this restaurant. That's how it looks forward to a visit.
I ate her several times, had the lunch menu. food is first class and desserts to fall on the ground. my only criticism today was that we had to wait at least twenty minutes for the menu, then for the entries, but it is worth waiting. less than 15 € for three more muse curls and small ovens.
We have lunch here, recommended reservation and quite quickly at 12h! We were the only British here, we were popular with the French who stayed for a break in all-inclusive formula, which, given the quality of food and wine, was reasonable. formal dinner, waitresses knew everything about the food they served and the service was excellent. We had 3-course lunch and it was the best value for money for our entire stay in france. 14 euros for a very good lunch and a wine map at reasonable prices. I'd be happy to stay in a very nice village for a few days.
If you already know how difficult it is to eat in a half-decent restaurant in france; If you're a vegetarian food, then you'll understand why I gave three out of five for what was actually a vegetable plate for a main dish. It was almost four out of five but I recognized that I was just very happy to have been out for lunch in a pleasant setting! It is a really charming restaurant and so cheap for a three-course daily menu at lunchtime. I had contacted the director in advance by e-mail to discuss options, he suggested "it is possible to make a vegetable plate for a vegetarian". There was a goat cheese salad on the menu of the day and we really wanted to eat there (my companion eats meat). It was a treat not to have the usual cakes, pizzas or omelettes of holidaymakers and to spoil a bit in a nice restaurant. the service was perfect, a really well trained young staff, good quality wines. The free wifi was available, so we went a bit with a coffee after our meal. Go if you stay at or anywhere near ploermel or josselin. You should have a good lunch. French families and colleagues had lunch there, so it was a quality guarantee.
