I have to write two reviews of this restaurant a 5 star review and a 1 star review. On Saturday evening June 27 2015 we were three friends greeted by a nice young waiter and had a very nice meal discussing and tasting wine with the waiter. He really took an interest in his guests and was very knowledgable about wine as we as wine connoisseurs appreciate. View all feedback.
What J T doesn't like about La Tonnelle:
After a really good experience on June 27th 2015 (se previous review) we returned the following evening to have a dinner again. It was a disaster. The food was OK, but the young waitress was terrible. She did not know anything about wine or waiting tables. We had to get clean glasses from an empty neighboring table ourselves. Simply great, to redo out of the summer, we are a customer of the year and we are jealous to share such delicious moments.
This opinion is a bit a redite of the one to give on the hotel adjoining (the little manor) since we were very ill welcomed (5 minutes before coming to speak to us) and a restaurant being said complete while there were several table with table to be erect. We were told that we would have to wait 15-20 minutes and we didn't even get invited to sit down to take the aperitif until we could take care of us!
