Contribute FeedbackCountry Inn offers a separate vegan menu with various options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. While some dishes were flavorful, others fell short and seemed pre-packaged. The portions were on the smaller side but delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the service efficient, even on busy Sundays. It is advised to double-check the ingredients, as there were instances of dairy being served with vegan dishes. Despite some disappointments, the availability of a vegan menu and the inviting ambiance make it a welcome option for those looking for plant-based meals.
Vegan menu with several options for starters, main and dessert. Tableware was delicious, but not remarkable. They brought butter with soup and bread, although we ordered from the vegan menu. When we pointed out they were quick to correct and brought some olive oil to dip the bread, but make sure that in doubt! Portions are not very large.
Really happy to see this chain- Country Inn offers vegan menus, I think it's fabulous. The “church” I received for £13- or more than a spa house, however, was an insult. It was a bunch of lumpy rice with a small serving spoon size of sauce and some boiled vegetables underneath. I actually felt really angry when I saw it- they think it is acceptable to calculate £13 for this; I still think it's because it's from the vegan menu and they think we're too beautiful to say something! Wrong! It was sent back and exchanged for a delicious but small Hassburger. They either have to drop their blackmailed prices or make the portions bigger.
Have a separate vegan menu to ask for, and dishes are clearly labeled as vegan or vegetarian, also in the main menu. Many choices and the main and dessert I had were great. Overall a nice pub, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Sitting on Sunday and even if the service was not slow.
The new separate vegan menu is great, the whole food salad star was delicious as the curry for the net. The chocolate cake for dessert was however disappointing, obviously only made from a package instead of fresh. The service was good (we have done in recent years and had slow service in the past, nothing to complain about this time), and the renovations also look good. Great to finally have a good vegan menu nearby!
The pub is a nice comfortable place, the vegan menus is good three of each main, starter and desert). The portions we're expensive £10 £13) considering the portion size, but very tasty. There's a pub car park too. Slightly confusingly they Mark a couple of things on the main menu vegan, but also have a separate menu with more so be sure to ask before thinking the main menu items are all that's available!
