Dropped in for a couple of drinks after a Sunday morning shopping trip in Guildford. The place was VERY busy, with many families enjoying brunch or an early lunch. We had just drinks (coffee and soft drink followed by beers before lunch elsewhere). The window seats give you a great view of the hustle and bustle outside. Good Wetherspoons. View all feedback.
What Ray O doesn't like about The Rodboro Buildings:
Of all the Weatherspoons we’ve visited Guildford always comes bottom when it comes to the cooked breakfast, plates are cold, breakfasts are luke warm and tasteless. They should take lessons from the Havant one (always excellent). View all feedback.
IT WAS 10:40PM. I SAT DOWN. I ORDER RAMEN, PEAS AND STELLA ON THE APP. A YOUNG LOOKING GENTLEMAN WITH A PATCHY BEARD DELIVERED MY FOOD. OH MY, THAT CAKE WAS WONDERFUL. I WILL BE RETURNING FOR ANOTHER MOUTHFUL.
I haven't read any other reviews, but I was surprised to see the low average rating. I went to this restaurant for the first time today for a pre-theatre meal with my 10-year-old daughter, and I was extremely satisfied with the value for money. We had two courses and a drink each for £20. The food was perfectly decent pub fare, the atmosphere was good, and the bathrooms were clean. For the price we paid, I would give it 5 stars or circles. Now I'm going to see what others are complaining about.
This Wetherspoons is the most sticky one I have ever visited. Practically every surface feels sticky to the touch. Are they using glue to clean this place? Other than that, it's just okay.
Horrific, staff are extremely rude and entitled. Would not go back again nor recommend any people to go there too. Absolutely horrific.
On this occasion we had to leave, couldn't hear ourselves speak over the loudspeakers, walked round the place to see if there was a quiet table . . .there wasn't! It was the same throughout
