Went into the city centre looking for something to eat before running some errands.
I ordered a vegan pad Thai with vegetables instead of egg. It seemed like they had a vegan version of the dish, but what I received was basically noodles with an overpowering sauce, tasteless tofu, and a few peanuts. There were very few bean sprouts in the dish, and the overall flavor was quite bland. The server mentioned that they had recently changed their sauce, which may have contributed to the lack of flavor. I couldn't eat it and ended up exchanging it for some spring rolls. I have dined here before as a meat-eater and enjoyed my meal, but I don't recommend it for vegans. There was no specific vegan menu provided, and instead, I was given a binder containing allergen information and expected to navigate the menu on my own.
I recently dined at a restaurant that offers vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the Sweetcorn Cakes, Vegetable Glass Noodle, and Cocktail Solid, and was pleased with the variety of tasty authentic Thai dishes. The prices were reasonable. The Sweetcorn Cakes were delicious - chewy, crispy, sweet, and savory. The Vegetable Glass Noodle was good, but I wished the portion was larger. The ambience was lively, with a mix of traditional Thai and modern decor. The service was quick, and the staff were accommodating to our vegan requirements. Despite being part of a chain, the food was great and the prices were fair. I would recommend this restaurant for a night out for delicious Thai cuisine and cocktails. I do hope they expand their vegan options in the future.
The restaurant offers a menu with clearly labeled vegan options, and the staff are very attentive to allergies. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, and the atmosphere inside is great. They also have a nice selection of cocktails and a small outdoor seating area, but I suggest sitting inside for the best atmosphere.
I asked for a vegan pad Thai and asked Veg instead of egg (usually in veggie one. It sounded like they already had a vegan version of the plate, but this was basically noodles with loads of (too strong sauce, tasteless tofu around the edges and some peanuts. There were a total of 10 bean sprouts. Absolutely flat taste (the server said they had recently changed their sauce? . I couldn't eat it and had to exchange it for a few spring rolls. I was here as a carnivore and was happy, but I don't recommend it as a vegan. There was no vegan menu, at least I was not given. I was only filled with a binder with all her allergens and expected to find out.
