Squid Same it is a bit too dry and a bit overcooked. The squids taste like not very fresh. Beef combo pho It is quite fulfilling to me and taste delicious! Soup is definitely hot enough and very refreshing. Beef’s texture is good and the beef meatballs are great Beef baskets with curry and rice Quite fulfilling tho and curry is perfect for the rice! Not very spicy you can see they put some chilli in there but not really spicy. And you can see from pictures they put quite a lot crushed peanuts on top which is very nice. Beef baskets are a bit too hard to eat and swallow. We still ordered one green tea lemonade drink but it is too small for me and I can finish it in 10 minutes.

I love Vietnamese food and was excited to try Pho with my family for a special Christmas dinner. Despite booking a table well in advance, things quickly went downhill. I received a last-minute call on the day of our reservation informing me that there would be limited meal options due to kitchen issues. Upon arriving at 8:30 PM for our booking, we were told that the restaurant would be closing at 9 PM due to staffing problems, leaving us with barely enough time to order and eat. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and felt let down by the whole experience. Despite hoping for an apology or some sort of compensation, I received nothing from the restaurant. Their customer service was so inadequate that it became comical. I strongly advise against dining at Pho in Guildford, as their disorganization and lack of care for customers is truly disappointing. If Pho wants to improve, they need to prioritize their staff and customer service to avoid further disappointment during the holiday season.

However, during my most recent visit, the food was extremely dry and lacked sauce. The staff cleared the table while my wife was still eating and then stood there waiting for her to finish so they could take her plate. They also brought out the prawn crackers, starters, and drinks all at once and wanted to bring out the main course at the same time. If this is the direction the restaurant is heading in, they may end up losing a lot of loyal customers.
