We have eaten dinner twice here this holiday and enjoyed it both times. Fridays have Goat Stew as the daily special, and well worth trying it is tender, tasty and in a lightly spiced sauce and just €10. If you like a man size Entrecote Steak, at €15 it is great value have it with the pepper sauce). Try also their house red wine, an organic local wine at only €10 a litre. Friendly, traditional restaurant with good food. Tucked away down a side street and well worth a visit
Brilliant family owned restaurant and bar, been in the same family for 70 years. Very good menu with daily specials, Paella,Rabbit ,fresh fish etc. Excellent service and very reasonable prices. We called in last night for paella, but it was the wrong night, the owner gave us free tapas to make up for our mistake !! Going back tonight for Paella. The restaurant is tucked away, about 50 metres from the seafront, definitely worth visiting.
We ate here twice three years ago, and pre ordered Paella the day before...absolutely fantastic, packed with seafood and meat...the owner here can’t do enough for you!! It’s very authentic , and one of two original restaurants in San Juan..give it a try, you won’t regret it!!
Good food and friendly service at value for money price. All the other customers on the evening we were there were locals always a good sign, I think.
