Right from the start, the hotel pleasantly su... read more Dear holidaymakers, dear holidaymakers, My wife and I were invited to a family celebration at the Hotel Zentlinde. Right from the start, the hotel pleasantly surprised us with its lovely welcome. It is our first stay in the Odenwald, and also in the Hotel Zentlinde. And I can say one thing in advance, it won't be the last stay ; . First and foremost, we wanted to do wellness. This is exactly how we imagined wellness. From pool to whirlpool, further with steam bath, saunas and solarium. There is also an outdoor area where you can find a heated whirlpool and an outdoor sauna. In general, my wife and I can only say: very relaxing, nice atmosphere and wonderful location. In the evening we went to the hotel restaurant. There too we were surprised by a beautifully designed ambience. The waitresses were very professional and friendly. About the food itself: As a starter there was the potato cream soup with fresh baguette. Nice and fresh and crispy . For the main course I had a rump steak (of course medium, at least 260g fresh meat , with a red wine roast onion sauce, and not forgetting the herb butter. :D As a side dish there were the finest fried potatoes. My wife had the same starter and the colorful salad plate with strips of turkey breast as the main course. If I had to give a number from 1-10 for the entire restaurant, I would give everything an 11. As a bodybuilder, I have eaten many rump steaks, from small medium-sized restaurants to steakhouses. But this rump steak is on a very, very high level and easily stands up to a steakhouse. P.s. The zander fillet (unfortunately not in the pictures also looked very, very delicious. Anyone who likes fish is also well catered for here. Conclusion: In everything we can state: • Price/performance ratio: 10/10 •
