Once you have eaten the big jim kitchen you will tell yourself that you have never eaten something so good. so little you like the concert of the day, whether you want to play company or chat with your neighbor, then this coffee country has made for you. It's been three generations of bosses and it's always as good. But how do you do it? View all feedback.
What Susanne Boutin doesn't like about Aux Anges:
first time- a set bbq menu with band playing in the other room. nice food second time-walked in, were told by the owner we would have to pay 5€ each to listen to the band (which you couldnt get away from, and the music wasn't...our thing), we only went to eat there, and so went elsewhere. 10€ for two is too much on top of your food bill. havent been again as his attitude put us off. Arrived in the bar we discovered a place of friendship and sharing a group of musicians sang and it was...More
Wonderful bar, very friendly with lots of artisanal local beers to choose from and some good wines. Very simple menu but delicious-when we visited it was a choice of amazing Tartizzas with various toppings and then a dish of the day which was a rustic ragout. Both were outstanding. Desserts of apple cake with salted caramel sauce and a chocolate mousse were also very good indeed. The owners are warmly welcoming without being intrusive and there is often live music (which is very popular so they charge €5 per head-usually Friday nights I think, but check ahead if that's not your thing). The village setting is worth the trip alone-it's like going back in time with an extraordinary church dominating the centre of the village complete with gargoyles and incredibly ornate decoration. Sitting outside in the evening sun sipping a cold drink in that quiet beauty is tranquility itself-definitely worth finding and enjoying!
A good time with family, with an original brunch with a great value for money! everything was good, made home with a special mention to shrimp with spoon pepper to the pastis and lost bread! the boss is very friendly and makes sure to highlight good local products. A place that really worth the detour!
Very nice restaurant. The boss is very coming, could become friends with all his clients. traditional homemade cuisine and excellent. warm atmosphere. games available to spend good moments after the meal. authentic style! 20/20. We'll go back.
We went there for a brunch, a formula we didn't know. We were not disappointed. The boss is very friendly. We eat on large country tables. The food is delicious and copyy. The dishes are original. It is a very friendly place that changes the ordinary. We'll probably come back to the concert evenings. we highly recommend
