We are out of the salorgia where we have lunch with friends and children. quiet garden at disposal and excellent cakes with good ingredients served with smile. full meal 90€ for 5 without depriving yourself. special mention for the "dais-andouille"... View all feedback.
What Alice Fleury doesn't like about La Salorge:
nice place, far from being up to the old owners. the special goat is very average, lack of flavor and presentation and the bacon has nothing to do on it, it adds a too dirty side. the terrace is pleasant. a little expensive for what it is. on the other hand, their dessert is superb. if you like sweet pancakes then go View all feedback.
This place is a mess. We waited more than an hour for each course. The crêpe arrived cold. This place is significantly underoccupied and should not receive customers that he cannot participate. Don't come back.
A beautiful find in the middle of the salt marshes of Guerande. On Sunday evening in October the place met locals and visitors. My Galette Saucisse was generally garned and very tasty. My crepe was also very nice. We spent around 55 € for 3 persons including Cidre. I found it very good value and will return.
The restaurant-crêperie La Salorge was recommeded to us by the concierge of a 5 star hotel at La Baule, which in itself is a plus. It was described as a little chaumiere (except there was no thatch on the roof in the small traditional village...of Saillé, on the way to Guerande. Very warm welcome, nicely decorated cosy dining room with stylish traditional furniture, and a great terrace where we had lunch. Enjoyed the traditional savory galette (pancake made from buckwheat flour (sarrasin, black wheat , which is bio at La Salorge, ultra light, crispy and distinctively flavoured, served plain with salted butter (salt from Guerande . An acquired taste for those who pile up ham and cheese, spinach, smoked salmon and egg... or even black sausage on it, though must confess we had one of these complex with savory fillings too, which was far too much! A very friendly and pleasant service, we hardly waited to be served, the cidre doux was excellent and well priced. Had lunch with my mother, who lived in this part of Brittany as a teen and had Breton grandparents... and is very demanding in terms of cooking! Especially crepes or galettes! Highly recommended for a break in a lovely little village, far from the busy restaurants from La Baule, Le Croisic etc along the cote sauvage of southern Brittany. I would not say it is a gastronomical stop-over (which would not be suited for galettes and crepes, even if le Grand Bocuse thinks differently! which would be heavy and takes hours, but a top quality well located with charm traditional crêperie. Only gourmet adults attended. I would say probably too elaborate or delicate to take family looking for budget creperie! Plenty of these along the beach at La Baule.
Beautiful Creperie, very good taste; quite large menu and I suggest the "complete with grilled sausage and onions confit '.
We had a very nice time. But above all. We've been having fun! the staff is very welcoming and...More
