We stopped twice at this place during our visit to Guerande. First to take a coffee in a warm sun on the central square with a view over cathedral, then a 2nd time to have a lunch. Location is perfect, coffee was average and the lunch very good. We shared a crepe as a starter and then opted for classical carpaccio. Everything was tasty and the service was fine. What Howard-Liverpool doesn't like about Chez Lucien:
A busy day but no staff it seems. Waited ages outside to be spotted for an order to be taken 5 simple drinks and then took ages for it to be delivered (all bottled drinks) When the drinks arrived 3 glasses had 1 piece of ice and another had none! Oh dear nice place nice staff but hopeless. View all feedback.
Cakes to fall on the ground especially the fermière does not change anything!
Very good place to eat. service is very well done and fast. The dishes are excellent. We'll make it. Bravo!
Very pleasant coffee, in the middle of the guerilla, large sunny terrace, the waiters are always very pleasant, the service is fast, the price of the consumption is reasonable.
Little detour to the lucian, like our habit as soon as we get to war. Today, Friday 22 April at 4pm to taste the lucian formula of 3 mini pancakes and hot drink! We're 3 adlts 2 enfts. There's a little world that seems a little logical to wait. mini pancakes (sugar, caramel butter salt and chocolate) coffee and hot chocolate pr les enfts. The drinks didn't say anything. The pancakes on it, unlike before. service. covered break in the middle of the table (take your mind) the weird crêpes chocolate not too good. Even infts. Little wc and the beurk. not very clean at all! It's a shame we always look forward to coming. A reflection on next time!
