We feel the quality of the dishes at every bite even my children are appreciated, its change of restaurants that often work with industrial products!!!Well, it is a little more expensive what is normal.I just remove 1 stars for the reception and service that I find fairly neutral can be fatigue due to the summer period. What Julien Guillet doesn't like about Chez Fernand:
warm welcome . after having asked us 3 times if we wanted 1 aperitif by 3 different people . we have to choose the weight of its pieces of meat in a window full of finger traces but the meat is very good open kitchen view on the fireplace the plates go out and the cherry tomatoes that end on each dish in tupperware with a water background laid out in the view of all , so some drops in each dish View all feedback.
A very pleasant restaurant, with good service, offers food in a wood fired open oven delicious! For meat eaters there is an extensive menu plus the viande Marche, meat cuts of fine meat, selections prepared to order. After we chose a generous slice of entrecôte to share, accompanied by a very good salad and very quaffable wines, we had an excellent dinner, although the meat was quite expensive, so if you choose on a budget from the al a carte menu.
I loved this place. It has a sense of humor. The decor is fun and interesting. It is a great place with long community tables for big parties. but also beautiful smaller tables for 2 and 4 The menu is interesting with the dish de jour... on that day deer. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had Escargot and a little piece of steak, both were excellent. I'd like to go to dinner again. It is not too far from La Baule and worth the trip.
We were in the mood for a good Andouillette Friites . When one of our favorite restaurants was closed for winter, we decided to try Chez Fernand. What a mistake! We had never seen an Andouillette weighing 300 grams! You can imagine the size of our Andouillette would provoke jokes at the table! Too bad! The fries were soggy and left them back to the kitchen, only to be served by another dish of soggy-Fries. The duck of our friend was unbearable. Only the wine was a bit of comfort.
Great restaurant, everything was perfect. from welcome to quality food. very inventive concept where one can choose oneself...More
