We visit the Woolwich/Woodlawn location (beside the Walmart plaza) Every time I go in, I am charmed by the owner, his son...in fact ALL the staff. It isn't just friendly service. It's something more....a sense that they actually want to make you the greatest pita ever and they want you to know that they feel grateful for the opportunity to do it. What User doesn't like about The Pita Pit:
I stopped by the restaurant at noon and ordered two peach desserts. Unfortunately, they were bland and disappointing. I had enjoyed them before, but not today. To make matters worse, I overheard the staff discussing their tasks, which seemed unprofessional. I presume I received my order from a new employee who still requires more training. We visit the Woolwich/Woodlawn site (since the Walmart-Pza) Every time I travel, I am enchanted by the owner, his son. It's not just friendly service. It's a bit more....a sense that they actually want you to make the greatest Pita ever and they want you to know that they are grateful for the opportunity to do it. Best service in a fast food type business I've ever experienced. I keep getting lighter, happier and how my belief in man was restored. Your pitas are great, fresh and good quality ingredients....but I swear, even if the pitas were only moderate, I would go on because the customer service experience is so wonderful.
For someone who has very sensitive celiac disease, I never got sick in this restaurant. They offer gluten-free ptas, salads, smoothies and coconuts. The staff is very friendly and will clean the counters and change gloves without effort. The restaurant is very clean and vegetables are fresh. Return dignity and recommend
I recently visited the Pita Pit location on Silvercreek Parkway N and was very disappointed with the experience. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, making it uncomfortable to place an order and have my Pita prepared. Unlike other Pita Pit locations, they charge extra for melted cheese and additional toppings. The employees seemed to have difficulty speaking English (and possibly French) and were not very engaging. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dark and dirty, with slow table turnover. The close proximity of the tables to the kitchen and checkout line created a chaotic and unenjoyable dining experience. I would recommend avoiding this location and instead visiting the Woodlawn Road W site for a much better experience. The team there is fantastic and will go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. In conclusion, stay away from this Pita Pit and take your business elsewhere.
If you are searching for a delicious and nutritious meal, then this is the perfect spot for you. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is consistently welcoming. My personal favorite is the Dagwood sandwich, made with spinach, tomatoes, green olives, feta cheese, horseradish, and chipotle sauce.
