The vegetarian cheese at this restaurant is really delicious, it reminds me of the cheese used at Pizzaville. The dough is cooked to a slightly chewy texture, so I recommend choosing carefully if you prefer a crispy crust. It's also cheaper to order a pre-made plant-based pizza than to create your own. What A KHY doesn't like about New Orleans Pizza:
I was very disappointed with my order of a large Hawaiian pizza with extra bacon. The pizza not only tasted bad, but it also had very little ham and bacon on it. View all feedback.
We recently tried Vegan pizzas for the first time at the Shelburne location and immediately fell in love with them. Every visit since then, we have continued to enjoy them. On our most recent visit, we ordered two large vegan pizzas - one with vegan pepperoni and the other with vegan garden pesto (our favorite). The interior of the restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. Our pizzas were ready in just a few minutes, so we couldn't wait to drive the 20 minutes home. The Vegan Pepperoni pizza was fantastic - plenty of cheese, a good amount of pepperoni, and a crust that I loved (5/5). Unfortunately, the other pizza with Garden Pesto turned out to not be vegan, which was a disappointment. It's unclear where the miscommunication occurred, as we had specifically ordered vegan pizzas over the phone. Despite this, the non-vegan diners enjoyed their meal, while the vegans were left disappointed. We hope this issue can be resolved for future orders. (Updated rating as of 2023/02/10)
The vegetarian cheese at this restaurant is excellent, it reminds me of the cheese that Pizzaville uses. The standard cooking time for the dough is a little longer, resulting in a chewier crust, so I recommend choosing carefully if you prefer a crunchy crust. Additionally, it is more cost-effective to order a pre-made plant-based pizza rather than creating your own. Overall, this place offers a refreshing change from the typical pizza places I usually frequent. My pizza was ready in 20 minutes, just as stated on the website. They provide nutritional information on their website, and the staff confirmed that their cinnamon pizza knots are vegan. I will definitely be ordering from here again in the future.
This is a fantastic local pizza place. It's not upscale or remarkable, just delicious pizza at an affordable cost.

I used to love the Rockwood location in New Orleans, but it seems that there has been a change in ownership. Unfortunately, the service has suffered greatly since then. While the food is still good, the long wait times at the pickup counter have made the overall experience not worth it. Despite being quoted a 25-minute wait, I have consistently waited 10+ minutes for my order to be cashed out. On my last visit, I waited in the store for a total of 25 minutes, making the wait for a single pizza over 55 minutes. Additionally, when we tried to order delivery during dinner time due to car trouble, we were informed that they no longer offer delivery services. It's disappointing to see a pizza place that doesn't deliver. I hope the new owners can improve the service in the future.
