I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The manager was rude, used inappropriate language towards me, and then suddenly shut the drive-thru window. All I asked for was two extra sauces with my large popcorn chicken. The customer service was awful, and I have no plans to come back. I'm genuinely disgusted by how I was treated. If I could give negative stars, I would. This happened on October 29 at 5:15 PM.
My uncle and I went to this restaurant for lunch on a typical weekday, and we ended up waiting an hour for a small order. It appeared that only two staff members were managing the restaurant—one was taking orders while the other was in the kitchen. I noticed several customers asking about the status of their meals. Moreover, the soda machine was disappointing; the brisk lemonade had no flavor and tasted like diluted water. To make matters worse, there was a sticky spill right in front of the ordering area that clearly hadn’t been cleaned up.
Can I give less than one star? The bathrooms are absolutely filthy and neglected, with toilets covered in feces and urine. I waited 20 minutes for a sandwich. When I asked why it was taking so long, the manager said the order was made fresh and the chicken patty had just been dropped five minutes earlier. The food was cold to the touch just one minute after being served. Do not eat here.
Terrible experience—I won’t be returning. I ordered a three-piece chicken dinner, and it was so greasy I could practically squeeze the oil out. The fries were cold and dry, and the gravy was bland and watery. The only thing I liked was the soda. I ended up throwing the entire $10 meal out the window, where the pigeons and seagulls gladly took over. Even my dog refused to eat it. I hoped my first visit was just a one-time thing, but every time since has been just as bad. I’d rather drive farther to another KFC or Mary Brown’s. After reading reviews from the past year and a half, it’s obvious they don’t care about their customers. Don’t waste your money—stay away!
KFC often appears to be understaffed, causing many customers to leave frustrated. It seems the manager or owner is attempting to reduce labor costs, but this is actually driving away customers and affecting the quality of service. Today, the restaurant was busy, yet there were only 3-4 employees on duty. It took 8 minutes just to place a single order inside. It feels like the manager or owner is exploiting their hardworking staff. Additionally, the limited menu options don’t help improve the overall experience.
