No other Chinese restaurant can compare; I'm a lifelong customer now. You can really taste the quality and effort that goes into the food. The chicken fried rice is the best I've ever had, and everything on the menu is reasonably priced and delicious. The owners are incredibly kind. I wholeheartedly recommend this place—well done! What User doesn't like about J F Chen Chinese Food:
I was really disappointed with the General Tso chicken. The fried chicken was tough and dry, and the sauce was extremely bland—it tasted like a watered-down version of sweet and sour sauce. Neither my partner nor I could finish our meal. I definitely do not recommend the General Tso. There are much better Chinese restaurants in Guelph that are worth trying instead. View all feedback.

Loved the lemon chicken,just a bit sparse on the sauce! Also I think they should switch from plastic to paper bags for their take out, you can't use plastic anymore in so many places! Also their staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean! I will be back!

Like many of the other reviews...the food was bland, there is no flavour to the sauce. They put onions in my food even though i asked for no onions ? The noodles were a mix between sort of cooked and crunchy (the way mr noodles come before cooking) I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. To all the people saying this is the best, you must not of tried anything else or live a sheltered life as this food is disappointing at best.

Have been a regular since they opened. Always quality food and friendly service. Best spot for Chinese food in Guelph. I recommend C3, C7 and C8

Best Chinese Takeout in the West end that's for sure
