Boon Burger Cafe - Guelph

I've enjoyed what is on offer at Boon - I've tried both the bun burger and the one on a salad. Very tasty. Have gone with vegan friends and they say that they keep going back. It is a nice spot to share a lunch. Good service - kind of self-serve... Will definitely be back.

My husband and I went to Boon last night and both had amazing meals! The girl behind the toll was very friendly and engaging. She even stopped by our table on her way out to ask how we enjoyed our meal and to suggest another one to try next time, since we had previously asked for some of her favourites. There were so many options to choose from as well as different patties. The curry sauce was amazing! Neither one of us are vegans and we can't wait to go back.

I ordered the Bombay Heat burger and enjoyed the spicy kick it had.

We have visited this boon burger location three times now, and the experience is getting better. At first they were terribly slow, but are now serving meals much faster. The burgers are good, but the specials are pricey. Be sure to ask as the prices are not listed on the specials board. The fries are still a bit dry and chewy, but they are baked which can account for this. The soups are good but not great, and the ice cream machine is still missing, which means no shakes or soft serve. If the fries were fatter, they would be less chewy and the food is still coming out warm but not hot. Two Specials and two side orders were almost $40, no drinks. I think that's expensive for fast food.
