Opted instead... read more Stopped for a quick bite of lunch, given its nice location on the waterfront. Disappointed that, although octopus was on the menu, there was none. Opted instead for squid. Ordered a full portion, for 8 Euros, not a half (both were on the menu). We were shocked that this consisted of 8, or at most 9, not particularly large squid rings. They were not tender and were overloaded with salt. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day had a gruff manner and never a smile. Would never dream of returning.

My husband, who walks with difficulty with a stick, was told to leave as he was on his own. “Solo” aparently was not permitted. Not the sort of welcome we are used to in Tenerife.
