We brought friends friends to see this gem of a place , everything went well until after we enjoyed our meal .We decided to sit outside to admire the beautiful... read more We brought friends friends to see this gem of a place , everything went well until after we enjoyed our meal .We decided to sit outside to admire the beautiful ocean . The owner came running outside telling us we had to pay 500 pesos to sit down or we had to order drinks , because they charge in Italy . Needless we were insulted , paid our bill and left , we will never set foot there again .

This place was a nice surprise, but be warned that it isn't your typical restaurant but rather a little shack with plastic tables and chairs in the back yard of a very modest beach house where the owners, Miralba Alberto (an Italian gentleman living in the DR) will serve delicious food in a setting that resembles more a gathering at one of your friends house than an outing to a restaurant. Very modest, no frills environment for sure. But clean, friendly and good food for sure!
