update aug. 24.19 I am pleased to edit my original review. this place has done a complete 180. service as always was excellent, but eating was great. we had the ribs with sweet potatoes. the ribs were freshly beautiful bbq’d, did not taste old. the little widder the koleslaw saw and tasted like today. the fries were crispy, not greasy or reheated, and the grandiose finale: the coffee was finally coffee and not socken... What User doesn't like about Tgi Friday's Miraflores:
Similar format to USA version, just more expensive. This country is not competitive in any regards, and not any different than most Central American countries but the franchise owner, to include Walmart, IHOP, etc seek high returns while paying rock bottom wages. They can do better price wise but don't care. You pay or go elsewhere. I will not be returning to this franchise in the future. View all feedback.
I love that this place is open until 11 a.m. on a weekday and is very accessible to uber/taxi users.
Update Aug. 24.19 I am pleased to edit my original review. This place has done a complete 180. Service as usual was excellent, but the food was great. We had the ribs with sweet potatoes. The ribs were freshly beautiful bbq'd, did not taste old. The little ram of the Koleslaw looked and tasted like today. The frits were crispy, not greasy or reheated. And the big final: the coffee was finally coffee and not sock water. Congratulations to the new manager and change my original 2 star to 5. For a franchise it leaves much to be desired. Waitstaff is great, but the food is terrible. Ribs are dry as if it is old, Coleslaw is icky, Burgerpatties are also small and the tomatoes and onions on them look very old. Too bad.
Good food, good prices, beautiful surroundings and they pay your parking
Your typical TGI Friday. Two levels, they offer free parking for Miraflores Mall when you consume there. I've had some experiences in which the waitress messes up the bill (the wrong card loads when she splits the bills), so keep an eye on it.
