It has a fabulous old fashioned design for the restaurant -Which has the best food I've ever eaten thanks to BJ's master skills- modern and confortable cabins to spend the night with a group of friends or your special person . If you are going to Guatape you can't leave without spending a night at BJ's restaurant and cabins. You will never want to leave!

Just five minutes outside the center of Guatape is an oasis of quiet calm and loads of charm. Husband and wife owners, Blanca and Benjamin have created a fine restaurant featuring fresh fish, typical Colombian dishes, and a full bar service. The chef owner has an extensive culinary background in Florida having held positions from Turnberry Country Club to Boca Raton. Now back in Blanca's home country, they bring that talent to this popular tourtist area. In addition to the large open air restaurant they also have two modern "cabins" on the property for rent.When we were there for lunch, our orders were all made fresh, served promptly, and well a visual delight. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including fresh salmon, excellent chicken and a tender steak smothered in succulent mushrooms. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and every taxi driver in town will know how to reach it.

I almost never rave about restaurant visits in particular but this one deserves a special honorable mention! The food was absolutely amazeing! I visited here with my cousin over the weekend as we went to la piedra del peñol in guatape colombia, after a few hours in the trip we got super hungry and decided to ask what restaurant was good in the area, we asked 2 locals and they both recommended bjs menu restaurant which also turns out to be a hotel. The food was absolutely incredible!!! Blanca and Bj, the couple that runs the resort were super welcoming and friendly, after not knowing what to choose from the menu since everything sounded amazeing we just decided to let them surprise us and we were treated with one of the most amazeing culinary experiences of our lives!
