Wonderful little outside restaurant right off of the main drag in the Golden Zone. Address is Albatross 202, Fracc. Las Gaviotas. The marlin tacos are to die for and the rest of the menu is wonderful. Chatty owner who is a lot of fun. I absolutely recommend this delightful restaurant and will return again and again. A group of us went to this popular spot for breakfast. We had a good meal but service was a bit slow because the chef was also the waiter. The original reviewer did not locate the restaurant in its proper location in the golden zone. The owner is very pleasant and the food was good View all feedback.
While we came through Mazatlan to this jewel of a restaurant, Mi Cocina at Calle Albatros 202, we had breakfast there, the food was excellent and cost only 65 pesos. They serve Mexican and American breakfast. Would recommend this place Steve von Canada
When we go to Mazatlan for the winter, our first breakfast is always at Mi Cocina. We enjoy their American breakfast and the friendly company of staff and customers. You have a selection of Mexican or American breakfast or lunch for a great price. The owner James, makes introduction to fellowmen who add to the great value of belonging. It is a great meeting place and a good source of information about Mazatlan. They met many interesting, friendly and informative guests. A great little restoration in the gold zone right in front of Camaron Sabalo.
The food is excellent and priced right. I've tried 4 dishes here and they've all been very good. Try the Marlin Ranchero.
Just off the main avenue called Camarón Sábalo Mi Cocina restaurant is on albatros street (Calle albatros). We found this place by chance by the sign at the entrance of albatros street. Food was excellent, clean restaurant, great friendly staff and a local breakfast and lunch crowd who made us feel at home. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Our family came here for lunch and had the smoked Marlin tacos, and they were excellent. My daughters said it was the best meal they’d had in ages- no offence Mom. We had to come back for another round the next day. There was a nice selection of Mexican food, not the typical stuff we get back home, as well as good looking American breakfasts with fresh squeezed orange juice- so good! We also had a takeout lunch that we took to the beach. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Prices were great as you can see in photos. It was clean, and the food was freshly prepared. I’ll be craving these tacos for a while.
