Description

Nestled near the ocean, this charming restaurant and cabin retreat offers a unique blend of nature and culinary delights. Renowned for its delectable menu featuring fresh ingredients and strong wine selection, guests rave about dishes like succulent scallops and flavorful venison. The inviting atmosphere fosters memorable dining experiences, enhanced by attentive service and a peaceful setting. However, potential diners should be aware of challenging reservation procedures, which can be cumbersome and frustrating. While the rustic cabins boast stunning views and cozy accommodations, accessibility concerns have been noted. Overall, the establishment is a beloved destination for many looking to relish great food in a picturesque locale.

Find a jewel where they are greeted as long lost friends. there is a lot of space to eat outside enjoying the view, cozy sea in the bar area or in the main it area complete. the main menu is all about protein (all good) choice including game (recommend the venison.) all dishes contain a healthy part of the kartoffels?. the appetizer enjoyed the desserts. good wine selection with full bar. highly recommended!

Our new tradition is to intertwine the holiday with dinner in st. orres. had crabs cake to start, servx with bio greens; salat dressing is so good. then, lobster and Prawns,Rosemary and coworkers never disappointed. highly recommended!

For reasons of transparency: I have not stayed or eaten here. I write this review because I tried to book an evening meal in the last 3 weeks. they only accept restaurant reservations by phone from 15 o'clock Thursday, Friday and Saturday. That was enough to turn me off from here. but it seemed the only fit for the date, the location and the occasion I planned (a post-memorial service memory). I called twice during this narrow window (and a few more times outside of it because of my work plan.) both male was the one and only woman who was able to make a reservation not available. Moreover, she has not specifically instructed the personal to take a message or to plan a call back. Given this terrible customer service and dark ages level reservation system, I would not recommend this place. I practically asked to pay them money – to help me make one of the most difficult experiences I've ever been through at least a little brighter – and they still had me jumping through hoops. -10/10

Contrary to the description provided on their website, Rose Cottage does NOT have a walk-in shower. Neither my spouse nor myself were able to shower/bathe while there. The tub and shower were totally inaccessible. Also there is no handrail on the steps up to the loft bed. The cabin otherwise was charming and the breakfast was outstanding.

We dined at St. Orres but did not stay at the cottages. The restaurant was amazing, great ambiance, outstanding service, delicious food. Every plate was perfect.
