Well. I finally checked this place out after passing by for years. The reviews were promising so I had high hopes. I was pleased by the complimentary chip and dip assortment when we sat down. There was only 1 other couple there so service was prompt. The food was just ok. Was a little bummed. Still support local and try for yourself. View all feedback.
This food is amazing! The ingredients are fresh and cohesively and intelligently put together. Yum!

The food at El Tapatio is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Do NOT go unless you like it hot and spicy. If you want mild, tasteless Mexican food go to Coronas in Arroyo Grande.
