The Butchery - Guadalajara

Nor only is the food delicious , but the personalized service is a major plus , absolutely recommend it for any occasion but for sure if you have a special celebration , they made my birthday dinner unforgettable !!! Cant wait to go back !!

The fish was well prepared but it was served on several stalks of extremely tough asparagus. It was impossible to cut or chew the asparagus. The serving size of roasted vegetables was meagre, but that was good because the veggies were overcooked and extremely oily. There are many far better restaurants in GDL in that price range. I won't be back.

I came here with group of business colleagues for dinner. Starters were tasty and a great prelude for the main course. We ate "family style" sharing several of the cuts of meat. All were extremely well cooked, tender and very tasty. For desert I had my first experience of a Carajillo - this was excellent. The Butchery is well recommended.

The 40 day dry aged USDA Beef is first class...Was a big La Vaca fan but now will go here for this beef...HOWEVER, they lost a star for the frozen McCains Onion rings when the most beautiful onions in the world are in their own backyard in Mexico. Disagree with their twist on Creamed Spinach...Only the classic will do, or offer both types...Will re-rate next month. Excellent and attentive service...Let's hope they break out the real onions and throw away the frozen boxes of onion rings...

This place does not do justice to the name, The Butchery. We were expecting a decent steak and overall meal and got none of that. Service was decent, not the best but the food was definitely subpar. Such a shame, because the restaurant is nice and it is in The Square Hotel, which is awsome! You're better off going down or across the street to any of the other dinning choices within walking distance.
