BREAKFAST: Buffet was quick and the food was good. Lots of healthy and maybe not-so-healthy options available. I noticed there was a vegan assortment - not my cup of tea, but good to know it's available. Coffee was hot & fresh & appeared instantly - THE RIGHT ANSWER! Cost was MN$250, which is about U$10, which is pretty cheap for a hotel of this calibre.DINNER: I selected the "gourmet" restaurant. Table clothes etc..... View all feedback.
What Василь Іванченко doesn't like about Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara:
I actually found 3 curly black hairs in my pasta. I tried some other dishes too and I really hated the combination of steak and tuna in some really bad tacos. In other restaurants this combination, due to better ingredients i guess, were not actually bad. Of course I didnt have to pay for the dish when I got the pasta. Prices were friendly but I really dont know if Im sure of its hygiene enought to go back there. In... View all feedback.
I had hoped to support a five star rating, but unfortunately we have experienced some deal breaker. as to strengthen. let me say that aesthetic, this peculiarity is an art work, absolutely beautiful. the rain shower head and the super hot water offer a relaxing experience...after a long flight. the personal is bilingual with great intentions and good customer service. but this property falls on a few deal breakers for us. first there is no heating in each of the rooms. it could not be a problem when it was summer, but this week (e.g. 15 to 23rd, continues cold (with average 39f for the week early morning and evening we needed more than “more blankets” than the hotel offered. at a certain point they need to use the toilet room in the middle of the cold winter night. brrrrrrr! not cool! pun intended. next, eating, we reserved an upgrade room on the Executive Stock that includes breakfast buffet. buffet offers a good selection of dressed (including vegan ... but the “hot” foods were cold (chilaquiles, hot cakes, etc.) on the first day we thought it was a fuke. but the trend continued throughout the week. I visited the spa renowa. I paid for a full hour deep tissue session, and the masseuse stopped, got me dressed and dressed after only 30 minutes before I realized that it had to advise her so that she would finish the full hour. the beds are comfortable, the kisses are terrible soft and have NO support. all in all, cold hot food and no heating knocked their evaluation. other comparable gas lovership options in gdl. will try another chain next time.
I spent 3 days at this hotel, during a conference. Everything worked as expected. It has a very nice pool (couldn't try it). Food is good enough and every night you can experience different shows (if you like it). If I'm back I'm surely will...be hosted again at this hotel.
The room services offered at all times very good food. The buffet in the morning offered a good variety of food.
The place is top-notch it's actually one of the prettiest hotels in Guadalajara and it's in a pretty good location to go have some lunch and actually it's near the 1 2 rated restaurants in Guadalajara. The breakfast buffet is pretty cool too, you...have a lot of options
