Táo Fàn Fáng Sone - 古殿町

Highly recommended are the mapo-men and hoikoro-men, but the lunch menu offers a variety of dishes using seasonal ingredients, ensuring a delicious dining experience that never gets boring! This lovely restaurant is run by a stoic husband and cheerful wife.

When I tried to enter the popular Chinese restaurant, Touhanbousone, I saw a sign saying that they had run out of ingredients. I was unsure of what to do, but then the staff reassured me that it was okay. The building was stylish and I was seated at a table towards the back right. There were partitions between tables for COVID-19 measures. I was curious about today's lunch menu. They offered ramen for 700 yen, mapo noodles for 860 yen, tantan noodles for 860 yen, zhajiang noodles for 860 yen, hoikoro noodles for 880 yen, shrimp and salt wonton noodles for 930 yen, and milk miso ramen for 930 yen. Set meals included mapo tofu for 900 yen, leek and liver for 900 yen, vegetable stir-fry for 900 yen, hoikoro for 930 yen, and tomato and egg for 930 yen. You could also add extra spice for 120 yen, a little spice for 80 yen, a large portion for 200 yen, extra chashu for 400 yen, and coffee for 150 yen. It seemed that coffee was included with lunch. I ordered the hoikoro noodles and they were delicious. We had a nice chat when it came time to pay and became friends.

I parked after 5:30 in the evening today. It was my first time trying Sone's food since they moved locations! There was a sign that said closed at the entrance, but I mustered up the courage to ask if they were open, and they said to wait in the back! The service was incredibly friendly and pleasant! I had the sweet and sour pork set meal which I love. My companion had the garlic chives and liver set meal. The sweet and sour pork set meal was cooked perfectly, with crispy cabbage and generous cuts of meat that were thick and juicy! The other vegetables also showed their individual strengths, but were all conducted by the sweet and sour sauce, creating a harmonious and delicious dish. The garlic chives and liver had no unpleasant smell, and the meat was also satisfyingly large, yet easily enjoyable even for women. The dumplings, which I had been curious about for a long time, were beyond my expectations, with the delicious filling resembling an Olympic athlete and the perfectly steamed dumpling skin showing excellent control! The accompanying dish for the dumplings was pickled cucumbers with white sesame seeds and large-cut shiso leaves, giving a refreshing and fragrant flavor without any unpleasantness, and not overpowering, similar to the tastefulness of a theater production. Thank you for letting us in while it said closed! It was very delicious! I highly recommend it to everyone!

古殿町に仕事に寄った際に、ランチで利用しています。なかなか古殿町による機会が無いので、今回でまだ3回めの訪問でした。外観はCAFEにしか見えませんが、しっかり中華料理店です。以前は酢豚定食をいただいたので、今回は回鍋肉定食をいただきました。出てきた時は濃い味付けかな？と思ったのですが、クドイ味付けでは無かったです。美味しく頂きました。今回の回鍋肉定食が930円！その他のメニューも800~900円代で、1000円でお釣りがくるのに本格的な味です。 夜はアルコールも提供しているみたいです。 今度はプライベートで伺いたいと思います。

古殿町を車で走ってると、何となく「あっ、なんかうまそう！」って気づいた． 麻婆豆腐がかなりおいしい． コリコリした挽肉で食感がおもしろい．量もかなりあり、すごく気に入った． 他にもレバニラ炒め、回鍋肉、チャーハン、ジャージーミルク味噌ラーメン等など、うまそうなメニューばかりだ．
