We were in the area for a retirement party, staying at a local hotel, and stopped in for lunch. I had the BBQ loaded fries with brisket, and my wife had the Carolina pork sandwich. Pros The person at the register was very friendly, patient and interacted with the kiddos nicely. We enjoyed that it wasn’t too loud even though there were lots of people. The fries and onion straws were crisp. Cons Uncomfortably hot in the dining area. The meat did not have a smoked flavor, the macaroni lacked texture, and beans lacked depth. Absolutely fire. pricing is excellent for the quality of food you get. The ribs are perfect every time. Brisket and everything else is great. Doesn’t matter what kind of bones they are the meat will fall right off. Honest staff and professional.
Pork belly sandwich was delicious. Easy to get to from the highway if you are driving through.
We swung by this spot on our way through OH. SO glad we did! Guys are super friendly, it 's super clean, but most importantly, the food is LEGIT! Wing dry rub is so delicious, pulled pork is perfect, and the hot mess is worth the trip alone. And while each sauce was great, the mustard based one made this Carolina girl beyond happy.
The only thing to say is that the food is amazing and the service is just as great.
Was craving some ribs for days and I was in the area and decided to place an order for pick up. I was 30 minutes late picking up my meal. However I was greeted with enthusiasm and excitement by staff. I went out to the car just to take a bite before I pulled off. I extremely pleased . I would recommend. Also, I was able to order small portions which was a plus. Three bones was plenty
