I absolutely love this little shop. They have the best salmon smear I've ever had in my life. On top of an everything bagel toasted dark and breakfast is complete. I can't wait to visit again and again. View all feedback.

Was just in here. The kid at the register was stuffing his face with food as he rang up customers. Talking with food in his mouth, handing back change, it was disgusting. Solid bagel shop. Good selection of cream cheese. I got the lox shmear on an everything and it was good. I would come back here.
Decent bagel with okay coffee. Super chaotic inside not a great place to chat or work.
I walked into the bagel shop and it was very busy but line seemed to be moving. There was a kind worker helping the customers ahead of us who knew him and he was being very kind and talkative. Then all of a sudden an aggressive older women worker came over and barked at one of my friends and said what do you want in a condescending tone. My fiend then ordered a coffee and she said WHAT BAGEL DO YOU WANT and did not even write down her order. She was rude to customers and then snapped at her coworker to speed it up and stop talking to customers although he was being very kind. The lady forgot all of our orders several times and had to keep asking for them and being rude throughout. THIS WAS THE WORST BBC EXPERIENCE EVER. I love bbc but this location needs some work.
I was so excited to try, the place has so much potential. It’s on a lovely street corner and locally owned is a wonderful start. But this location has such an odd setup, that they’re really a detriment to themselves. My excitement quickly faded at how chaotic they’ve chosen to set up their order experience. Typically at a shop like this you would order, pay, wait for pickup. Here, you order your bagel, and they have it toasted and waiting, before you’ve even ordered your coffee. My bagel sat cooling on the countertop while waiting for the opportunity to order my coffee. At the checkout counter the cashier asked if we were waiting to pay. I was confused, because I hadn’t even finished my order yet. We order our coffee, pay, wait 10 minutes for our coffee. Meanwhile, the line is out the door. This isn’t because of volume of customers, this is because of their odd setup. We get our coffee, and the coffee I ordered hot was cold, because it seemed they didn’t steam the milk. I wanted too much to enjoy this lovely location, and I’ve never felt so strongly about an experience before that I felt I should leave a review. But if they could change their setup to be almost opposite, order, pay, then wait, I feel like they’d have a much less chaotic experience. And my bagel wouldn’t have been cold by the time I got my coffee. I sincerely hope this can be changed, because there is wonderful potential here. But I’m sitting here with cold coffee and a cold bagel, I have no intention of finishing. Best hopes for you, Bloomington Bagel!
