I decided to let it go and just went with the medium. When I pulled up to the window to pay, I handed my phone to the younger man to scan my points. However, it wasn't working and he seemed flustered. I tried to reassure him with a smile, but then the older woman appeared again and attempted to scan my points herself before informing me there was nothing she could do.
