The steaks were warm when they arrived at the table. The rice side was cool. The salad was prepared enough in advance that the croutons were soggy. Not what I expected based on the first impression after walking in! Great Atmosphere, great knowing you can park and be credited for your parking. Wait staff was very attentive and nice. The only thing we can say was that the strip steak wasn't seasoned at all and was plain. Otherwise, it was still a good evening out.
Server seemed very uninterested. We did not have tableware for quite some time Had to pay $20 to park in the lot outside. On the way out I saw a tiny sign that said the restaurant “covered” parking. This was never offered when I walked into the restaurant
My wife's prime rib was perfect and she really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my NY strip. It was cooked perfectly and was at least edible. That's about all the praise I can give it. It was tough and full of gristle. Overall the second worst steak I have ever eaten. Everything else was great, so hoping my steak was the exception, not the rule
Cherokee Grill never fails to deliver. Jason was very good and his recommendations were superb. I had the special Chop- fabulous with the Nev's potatoes (very good). My wife had the snapper- very good with a little heat and a mango chutney to cut it. The new Kitchen Mgr came out and talked for a bit. All good. And for far less than you can pay for restaurants with far less quality. And all this in a tourist town where food quality and service often play second fiddle to the destination. We'll continue to come back for more!
