Wir haben hier am 27.12.2013 Abend gegessen. Mussten sehr lange warten bis wir überhaupt bestellen durften, danach mussten wir sehr lange auf unser Essen warten. Die Bedienungen sind nicht sehr aufmerksam für so ein Etablissement, fast überfordert. Kein richtiges System, eine grosses Durcheinander.

I had a lunch in gstaad 2 weeks ago at the alpina. I went there with two of my old friend for a special occasion. When we arrived we were impress by the beauty of this newly renovated hotel. Bad luck for us, the receptionist directly made us feel like we were not fitting the style of the hotel. The manager of the restaurant confirmed it by giving us the worst table of the restaurant. (While it was empty). Hopefully for them the quality of the food saved a part of this. Never less we got sparkling water instead of still, asked for a throw that never arrived, and wait 20minutes for a dessert menu. Overall, the services was ok for a random restaurant but terrible for a place with a high reputation like The Alpina.

Nach dem Skifahren hatte ich Gelegenheit in der Alpina Lounge zu speisen. Die Lounge/Bar ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und professionell. Versuchen Sie den Burger. Die 38 CHF sind gut investiert.

Do not look at the pictures proposed, every corner of the Alpina is sophisticated, tasteful and outstanding. You will enjoy every second !!
