We booked the Friday night wine and tapas evening and it was great value CHF 20pp for the cable car to the top plus 3 wine tastes, and at this time of the year women can go for free at 18:10 or 18:40. The food was nice, but nothing special. The views are spectacular stick around and ask for a blanket so you can enjoy the sunset then gaze at the stars! View all feedback.
What Caroline Burkart doesn't like about Sommet:
We were disappointed with the kitchen. The mushroom rosti portion is tiny and tastes average. Unfortunately, the cheeseburger is borderline inedible. The meat was unseasoned and still raw inside, the lettuce leaves were limp, the cheese was far too dominant and had a strange taste... The fries were in the deep fryer for far too long. The view is absolutely amazing. But the food definitely can't keep up. View all feedback.

A restaurant and a cafe. The restaurant was booked on a Friday night (everyone kept asking why we didn't book ahead . . . it was a special friday night burger deal think) but we were able to eat at the cafeteria. It was expensive (beet salad 12 SF; Cheese Platter 20 SF; but yoghurt and bananas cheap), but hey you are on top of a mountain, and can walk out and eat in the sunshine looking over all mountains and on our late afternoon even the lake. Memorable!
Comfortable restaurant, very dependent on customers, with great food! A breathtaking view.

The restaurant is very friendly, the warm atmosphere, the mountains surround you and it is exceptional. We had a truffle fondue
