I enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict of my life at this restaurant. The muffin was a light biscuit with a hint of sweetness, and the thick slice of ham was the perfect addition. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the sauce complemented the dish beautifully. Next time, I'll order the same dish but swap out the potatoes for fruit. I ended up overeating because it was just too delicious, but I’ll try to hold back a bit next time. The service was outstanding, with our food arriving in about five minutes. Lil Bits has become our new favorite spot for breakfast in the Five Cities area. The staff was attentive, cheerful, and efficient—truly, I couldn't have asked for more.
If you enjoy Eggs Benedict, Lil' Bits is fantastic. However, I would recommend trying the Monte Cristo.
The potatoes were all inconsistently cooked—some had burnt edges while others were raw in the center. Another piece had no browning and wasn’t cooked through at all. Overall, they lacked flavor, and the bacon was overcooked to the point of being brittle. The eggs were rubbery, and the toast was just warm bread with a barely-there crust. The prices seemed too high for a local favorite. Unfortunately, this place won’t be making our list for a return visit.
We visited on Mother's Day, and the breakfast was fantastic! The service was excellent as well. They even handed out carnations to all the mothers!
