The Chicken Kabob Pita was dry, and the Beef and Lamb Shawarma Pita didn't taste like shawarma at all—it was more like semi-dry gyro meat. As someone with Middle Eastern background, I can definitely tell the difference. Neither pita had the pickles I requested, and there was very little sauce and vegetables. I won’t be ordering again. I ordered the Falafel Pita, and while it was decent, it lacked flavor and was somewhat bland.
The Beef and Lamb Gyro Pita was absolutely delicious! While the portion of meat was a bit on the smaller side, it was packed with flavor, and the pita was perfectly fresh. I was pleasantly surprised!
I've been visiting this restaurant since it opened, and I've never been let down. I usually order the gyro or the Philly cheesesteak.
