Contribute FeedbackThe location, right on the beach, is very pleasant and the restaurant itself is rather tastefully decorated. Whilst our expectations were not too high, we were not impressed by the food, especially the overcooked seafood pasta. We were however utterly shocked when the waitress, a very nice young lady who did a good job serving our table, was reprimanded by the owner in the kitchen, all within earshot of the customers left. We would never go back to a place where staff are treated so rudely with horrible swear words. Add to this that the bathroom was rather dirty, another red flag. Never again.
We went here twice in October and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fish, beautiful views and charming service. Will certainly visit again in the summer.
I think the lunch we had here was the worst meal we have ever had out in Italy …. and we’ve had hundreds! From a very limited menu we were forced to choose either a tiny portion of tasteless cod mixed with mashed potato or a boiled piece of unrecognisable fish in a watery sauce. The second course was either a tiny portion of pasta served with what was supposed to be fresh tuna but looked and tasted like bland pork mince or pasta with rubbery old squid that was cold! If we hadn’t been there as guests of friends we would have sent it all back and walked out. Poor service and much more expensive than most of the other restaurants along that strip of beach. Overall a completely miserable experience to be avoided at all costs.
Mi aspettavo di più. Il coperto di 4 euro a persona è esagerato, gli spaghetti con le vongole erano molto salati e il condimento strano con panna di patate non ha aiutato, il cappuccino con biscotti sbriciolati sopra. Carino ma non eccezionale! Il menu ha una selezione limitata (solo 2 opzioni per categoria).... La posizione discreta con tavoli all'aperto con vista mare.
Il ristorante chalet è molto bello e offre una vista spettacolare al tramonto. Il menu è sicuramente speciale e diverso da tutti gli altri ristoranti della zona, che offrono sempre le stesse cose. Da Loris, il proprietario, si possono gustare solo pesce fresco a chilometro zero! Il personale è giovane, ma molto preparato, e abbiamo trascorso una serata meravigliosa.
