We were on holidays in the region and wanted to find a place to get away from all the tourist trap seaside restaurants. We then found this nice restaurant. We booked early to enjoy the view before the night set in and then enjoyed a romantic dinner in this small medieval village. What Frafranz doesn't like about Borgo Antico:
No. Not able. Came to this lovely terrace at 12:50, and was welcomed by a harsh “we open at 1”. Ok, so we waited. In the mean time 16 other people showed up for lunch, all waiting. At 1 the waitress showed up and took our order, and all the orders of the other 16 people. We ordered 2 pastas. Location STUPENDA, quiet place, exquisite food. What can you ask for more than that? To try it!
Excellent place with sea view, from one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Grottammare. Great welcome and service, cuisine attentive to the rediscovery of the flavors of a time but with a look at innovation. I recommend it.
The location of the room is enviable, from the tables outdoors you have a really beautiful view on the coast. well prepared the dishes we had the opportunity to get, with good attention to the customer. prices in line with quality. recommended.
Very nice panorama, friendly service and prepared. good wine paper, many locals. original and good dishes with some banners. honest price for the type of local and food (2 first, 1 second, 1 bottle of challenge, 2 desserts 95 euro)
Wonderful dinner this evening. The food is so fresh and delicious. Not sure why some reviewers are complaining about price. It’s quite reasonable for the quality of the food served. Averaging at about 10 to 14 euro per plate. We’re nearing the end of our time here in grottammare and wish we had found this place a week ago.
